I decided a long time ago that I was going to be the person who said "I don't recognize that acronym, what is it?" and "I'm sorry, this isn't making sense to me, can I get some context?" I must have said that dozens of times. I've never had any one say "how can you possibly not understand this?" and I've had people reach out multiple times saying "thank you so much, I was totally lost as well."
